Pure Love Ministries Clean and Sober Living's mission is to provide clean and sober living for chemically dependent ex-offender males in recovery in the West Contra Costa County, California.
This home provides a safe, structured environment for males who are exiting from the criminal justice system and attempting to reenter society. We also serve men who are living in high–risk environments or are homeless.
Pure Love participants can continue a personal spiritual/religious program of recovery in an atmosphere removed from social pressure to drink or use drugs.

It is the philosophy of Pure Love that a safe-structured and home-like environment is the ideal setting for best meeting the needs of our residents suffering from alcoholism and/or drug addiction.
Beyond this we understand that alcoholism and drugs are a two-fold disease; physical and mental, arrested only through total abstinence and a program designed to assist individuals with their recovery process.
We believe that if we provide a safe and supportive, environment and collaborate with the community based agencies and programs, people will be successful in their recovery process.
All residents are encouraged, upon leaving, to keep in contact with Pure Love and with friends who are current or former residents.
Regular alumni meetings are held to maintain newly formed bonds as well as demonstrate the importance of service and involvement in the life of a clean and sober person.
Faith Based Organizations, Non-profit Organizations and Friends of Pure Love Clean and Sober Living offer alumni and others the opportunity for direct involvement in the welfare of Pure Love Clean and Sober Living.
We rely on the proven 12 Step/Spiritual approach to recovery. Our residents must attend at least 2 community based 12-step meeting/or church of their choice.
Residents are required to perform scheduled duties and chores. Through these duties, the men develop a sense of responsibility, pride in “their house” and begin forming healthy friendships that, in many cases, last a lifetime.
And finally, for our residents who are jobless, we offer job referrals.
The cost to each participant will be based on a sliding scale; fees will not exceed $500.00 per month. This includes: room and board, laundry facilities and some recreational activites.
